<p>Be the first to experience Cafe India&#8217;s new Indian Tapas menu and their new feature of hosting Scottish Craft Beer within the restaurant &#8211; we have teamed up with their chefs and with The Black Isle Brewery to challenge and delight your tastebuds:-</p>
<p>The evening starts with:</p>

<li>A welcome drink whilst you settle down to a glass of Yellow Hammer with poppadoms and their signature spicy onion pickle</li>
<li>We will then introduce you to 5 deliciously different dishes from the Tapas Menu (each created for 2 to share)</li>

<p>Dishes will be served one at a time, with chef sharing an explanation of how each is prepared and the team from Black Isle Brewery introducing you to 6 different beers throughout the evening, again with an explanation of how these are created and the flavours to look for in each.</p>

<p>We invite you to visit the Pelican Cafe, Glasgow (opposite Kelvingrove Museum), for a relaxing evening of art&#8230;</p>
<p>The evening is free to attend and is being hosted by The Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice to help raise awareness of the support they offer to the terminally ill and their families.</p>
<p>Please join us for what will be a very relaxed evening, where you are invited to sample a selection of taster dishes from the current Pelican Cafe menu coupled with a glass or two of award winning wines, whilst you take in the varied range of original artwork , all donated by a variety of Scottish artists.</p>
<p>All artwork is for sale and donations on the evening are welcome but by no means essential, we simply want you to come and enjoy an evening as our guests.</p>
<p>The event is free to attend, but to help us monitor numbers, can you please register your interest by emailing <a href="mailto:myra.grant@ppwh.org.uk">myra.grant@ppwh.org.uk</a> or calling 0141 429 9889 with details of how many will be in your party.</p>

<p>Vic was both Harrison Ford and Christopher Reeves&#8217; stunt double in the first 3 Indiana Jones and the first 2 Superman movies before moving on to become a stunt co-ordinator and second unit director for some of the biggest films of the last 2 decades.</p>
<p>From ‘Arabesque’ and ‘You Only Live Twice’ to this summers ‘Thor’ and next year’s ‘The Amazing Spiderman’, Vic Armstrong is a true Hollywood Legend.</p>
<p>The Academy Award winning British-born Vic Armstrong has got some amazing stories to tell, and he is coming to both JAM Film Festivals to talk to stunt and movie fans about his amazing career.</p>

<p><strong>Wednesday 17th May, The Pelican Cafe, Glasgow &#8211; opposite Kelvingrove Museum</strong></p>
<p>The Prince &amp; Princess of Wales Hospice invites you to join them for a launch evening of art work at the Pelican Cafe, on Wednesday 18 May 2011 between 6pm and 8pm.</p>
<p>The exhibition and sale will feature a number of Scottish artists who have very generously donated their artwork to help raise funds for The Prince &amp; Princess of Wales Hospice.</p>
<p>In addition to the wonderful art on show you will be treated to canapés and a glass of wine in one of Glasgow’s newest and most popular restaurants.</p>
<p><strong>THIS EVENT IS FREE TO ATTEND</strong></p>
<p>As there is limited space within the venue, please register your interest to help us gauge expected numbers by Emailing <a href="mailto:myra.grant@ppwh.org.uk">myra.grant@ppwh.org.uk</a> or telephoning 0141 429 9889 with details of how many will be in your party</p>
<p><strong>**Special Offer**</strong></p>
<p>Any guests wishing to stay on to eat afterwards can take the opportunity of £12 for a 2 course and £15 for a 3 course Pelican Taster Menu.</p>
<p>This can be pre booked with the restaurant direct or please speak to staff on the night.</p>
<p>If you are unable to attend on the evening of 18 May the art work will be available for purchase within the Pelican Café until the end of June.</p>
